NEW BLOG

Hello everyone,
I have just started a new blog/website which will be at
www.melphan.wordpress.com/blog

So you can check out my latest projects there, including my alphabet lettering project.

See you soon!

Lettering project ... easy as ABC

I thought I will start a new project to get my creative juices going. I saw a project by someone was doing, that they would draw one alphabet a week or day and thought "why not?"
Lettering is one thing I really love doing (but need practice!)

Follow me on instagram @mel_is_a_fan to see the rest of the alphabet.

You will just have to wait and ... C

you can do it!

Good reminder and source of encouragement.

Nearly Perfect

No one is perfect. So even if you practice your not perfect, you're just nearly perfect. No one is perfect except for God.

need some wallpaper

I always see these really nice, inspiring and encouraging bible verses around, so I thought why not make my own? It perfectly fits my phone! (Since I just got a smart phone... yes I know... I'm slow...) Also its a good project to use my photos that have just been sitting on my computer.

Enjoy!

more T's

These are some more t-shirt keychains! From my other project.
I still need to get on to making more postcards!

bible verse project: chapter 2

I've made t-shirts!
Well key chain t-shirts... small and cute and who doesn't love a keychain? What else can I make for my bible verse project collection... hmm bag, check. notebook, check. A real t-shirt... coming soon.

bible verse project

Recently I have been trying to make some of my artwork into things, like bags and postcards and now notebooks, each one was hand drawn. I think if I was to make note books it would be printed but these are just some personalised, one of a kind notebooks. (Limited editions haha)

colour!

I thought I would add some colour to these letterings that I have done in the past.

New Project!

So I have decided to make some tote bags! I tried iron transfer paper but somehow it didn't work. I think I'll have to give it another go... so in the mean time its hand drawn with fabric marker.

daily reminders

Well I'm finally getting on to printing some of my lettering of bible verses.
I have just recently printed some postcards with this verse on it. If you are reading this and would like one just let me know :)

who cares?

I have just been on a trip to Indonesia! It was great! Food was great! shopping and beaches were great! (weather was ...great... if you like floods)
Since I don't really like loooonnnnggg flights (even though this wasn't the longest flight ever) but 8 hours is a lonnggg time, especially if you are just sitting there.
So why not do something productive? (Next time I wont bring a inky fine liner because I think the air pressure on the plane make the pen leak!)

Currently these are some of my favourite verses which has given me comfort and encouragement.
"casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you" (1 Pet 5:7)

Who can you trust?

Sometimes you just have to remind yourself that you can't control your future and you won't know what will happen. So you should trust in God and see what life will bring :) "Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.."

Baby Rabbits

mini notebooks

These are some small notebooks I've created with some lettering I have done and finished it off with some glow in the dark paint.

Love does not...
