So small & so cute!

My rabbit "Wasabi"  had 2 babies and they are so cute! One is brown and really active and the other is a complete sleepy head and white and fluffy! (Its SO fluffy!) Haven't got names yet but probably have to sell them because we have no room to keep them... :(

What can you learn from the ant?

I was bored one day... well not really bored but more like procrastinating/updating my design knowledge on the website DesignTAXI.

And I came across an article or post about a Russian photographer called Andrey Pavlov.

I loved the ant series and it reminded me of the verse:

wedding card

This is a wedding card I made using some leftover wedding wrapping paper and come card/paper for a friends wedding. I added some diamantes for the "i" and used some silver fabric paint to make the decorations at the corners. I still have to work on my esty page, not sure if i should sell some of my cards and hand drawn lettering, well if people need/want it i'll sell it :)

Well I just started lettering again, but this time I got some inspiration from some type which was in a magazine I collected. I think I randomly picked up a magazine/publication that was in a pile one day at Uni and never read it, so I was cleaning out my room/desk of unwanted paper and other bits and pieces (only to have made more space for future collections of random paper and booklets) and opened it to a page which had the words pretty please. I just googled to see who created it and it is Karl Kwansy. It also reminded me of Gemma O'brien who I learnt about/discovered in Uni and also saw in a small publication for Semi-Permanent (because she presented in Brisbane 2010), I love the type and the flow of it. So I guess thats what inspired my own.

So a lesson to be learnt: Inspiration comes from anywhere, especially things that you might have found or collected but you thought you didn't need it or remember seeing. (I think that is why my desk/shelves are covered with little bits and pieces and small publications and magazines making my room messy...) (and faith in God is the victory which overcomes the world)

Be creative and draw

Well after coming back from theo for 3 weeks what better way to remember bible verses then drawing them.
The book of Proverbs: (You should read it if you haven't, has some really good verses :))
One verse I really like is (Proverbs 12:25) "Anxiety in the heart of a man causes depression but a good word makes it glad."

NEW year!

Well its 2012... (stating the obvious...) and also chinese new year! For the past few weeks I went to a short term theological training course in Melb held by the True Jesus Church (its kinda like a bible camp) and so I saw many of my interstate friends and learnt a lot about the bible and God! Also True Jesus Church Melbourne has just moved to a new church building in croydon south! Its really nice and big :) (Dedication is in May)

Also for Chinese New year had a steam boat and went to Box Hill and walked around.. so much yummy food!
Also i want to make something... a calendar? Well i guess you'll have to wait and see.

magazine is done!

Its done! That was a busy semester, but glad its over. Now its time to organise projects for my folio but also to take a break and do something fun and random. So stay tuned.
